White teas contain the most antioxidants,
even more than green tea.

What is the best tea, white tea some people say.

White teas make a pale cup of tea with a mild honey like taste.

White teas are the least processed of all teas and are considered the best. Silver needle tea is the rarest and best of teas.

Made of young leaves and buds white tea also contains more of the amino acid L-theanine than green, oolong, or black teas. L-theanine is thought to counteract the negative effects of caffeine and creates a state of alert relaxation. There are many White Tea Benefits.

Our White teas should be brewed with 190° F water and steeped from 7 to 10 minutes for the first infusion. Fine teas develop more flavor and complexity without bitterness with longer steeping times. Lesser quality white teas develop bitter flavors if brewed for more than three to four minutes.

You can expect multiple infusions from Trenton Teas White Loose Tea by extending the brewing time for each successive infusion. Just remember not to use boiling water, if the water is too hot, the tea will become bitter and you will not enjoy the finer subtle flavors of our white loose tea.
